• All images must be taken during McLean WinterFest 2014
• Images must be submitted in .jpg format
• Submit images by posting them to the WinterFest Facebook page, www.facebook.com/mclean.winterfest. (To post to our page, please add McLean WinterFest as a "friend" to enable your posting privileges.)
• There is a limit of 5 photos per participant
• The contest is FREE to enter
• The deadline to submit photos is January 7, 2015.
• Winners Announced: January 31, 2015
• McLean WinterFest has the right to use submitted photos in future promotions and publicity for WinterFest.

Judges from the McLean WInterFest steering committee will review all the entries. Winners in each category will be notified by email and prizes awarded. All winners and finalists will be posted on the McLean WinterFest Facebook page.

Photos are evaluated based on both technical skill and artistic ability. Winning photos are those that show the photographer's skill in composing an image, use of light, depth of field, sharpness of focus, color balance, composition, framing, camera angle, originality, choice of subject matter, and the amount of patience (or luck!) required to get a shot.
